I'm looking for some suggestions for games I can put on the new virtual private server I have acquired.
I was thinking we could organise a few online games but the problem with that is that most people don't have legit copies of the games.
I've looked into some Steam cracked server games like Left4Dead or Counter Strike that don't require authentication (legit CD-Keys) but it's a bit of a minefield.
I was also hoping for Grid 2 but it looks like there isn't a dedicated server version so I'm not sure if it's possible.
So, what games would you like to see?

OK the first plan is Call of Duty Modern Warfare, the server will be cracked so you can just grab a copy from your preferred P2P network. (Don't download any rips (Skullptura), try to find full versions (RELOADED))
I'm going to try to make this a regular thing, maybe every 2 weeks on a Tuesday so I'll post back with a date and time once I have the server setup.

I've got the CoD4 server working but since it's private I'll only run it when we plan to play.
To play online with any copy of Call of Duty 4 you will need to....
Download the keygen, crack, and v1.6 + v1.7 patches from the download section.
2- Install game using keygen,
3- Install the full v1.6 patch. Then install the incremental v1.7 patch.
4- Update Punkbuster with pbsetup.exe.
5- Copy cracked iw3sp.exe to installation folder (To play single player)
6- Run iw3mp.exe to start multiplayer game.
Go to multiplayer options to change your name. Exit game.
You can get all the extra files here and you can get the Razor or Reloaded releases from your P2P.
Notes:
You don't need a crack for the iw3mp.exe
You need to select the Punkbuster option from the Multiplayer options
You need to run and add Call of Duty 4 to Punkbuster

When connecting to a server, I think you have to use the console by press ~ (key next to 1) and typing "connect 64.120.46.100:28960"
Watch out for the 'Skullptura' release, it's only 2.5GB but you will need to download another 1.5Gb to get the correct files.
